Tennessee Aquarium

Lately, it seems like we spend a lot of time in Chattanooga (maybe that's because we do).  When Rob has free time, we've been checking out the city and trying to partake in any kid friendly activities that might be available.  Yesterday, we decided to visit the Tennessee Aquarium.  We have passes to both the Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo, but we thought it would be nice to see a different aquarium.  Plus, I had heard great reviews on the one in Chattanooga.

The Aquarium consists of two separate buildings.  The first building has a butterfly garden on the top level. That was probably my favorite part of the entire visit.

A short stroll to the next building to see more marine life.

It was neat to see the differences between both aquariums.  This one had a lot more river fish since the Tennessee River is nearby. They didn't have a big, colorful saltwater tank like the one at home, but it was nice to see different types of fish for a change.

Passed out.  This child loves going to any aquarium.  In fact, he loves animals and marine life so much that it wouldn't surprise me if he becomes a vet or marine biologist when he grows up.
