What she's up to:

-Sleeps on her tummy at night
-Still gets very colicky at night, but is starting to get somewhat better (she wakes every 2-3 hours)

-Is adored by her big brother
-Fits in 0-3 & 3 month clothes
-Nurses like a champ (every 2-3 hours)
-Has Blue Eyes (where did those come from?)

A little Comparison-- Tripp's 2 month stats:
Weight: 12 lbs. 7 oz. (67%)
Length: 23 1/4 inches (61%)
Head Circumference: 15.9 inches (62%)

To me, they look very different in person, but now that I compare pictures of them, I'm noticing how much they actually looked alike at this age!

And finally, a few more pics of the princess over the past month:

In the process of rolling over!

She definitely doesn't like the swing as much as Tripp did, but she'll tolerate it for short periods of time.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Thanksgiving was really low-key this year.  My Dad was in Louisiana for work, Alli was in North Carolina with her boyfriend's family, and Claudia was in Florida visiting her sister's family.  This left Me, Rob, Tripp, Camille, Matt, and my Mom.  We decided to have a yummy dinner, but didn't want to go overboard on the food making.  My sister's roommate/best friend, Sarah, who also happens to be a good family friend of ours, also came to dinner.  Sarah's parents live in Kentucky and her Brother, Nick, and his wife, Mandy, are stationed in Colorado so she didn't have any relatives in town to celebrate with.  Sarah is practically family though.  The Disney's lived just a few houses down from us when we were growing up.

For dinner, we had turkey (of course), rolls, squash casserole, candied yams, peas, mashed potatoes, cranberry, and dessert.  Even though we really held back on the meal (we normally make A LOT more), I still managed to gorge myself.  It's not Thanksgiving dinner if you don't feel like a stuffed turkey when you finish.  I really try not to, but I always manage to eat more than necessary.

My sweet Chubby girl!

There was most definitely some relaxing and football watching.

Mom and I were the cooks.

Operation: Destroy the Playroom...Always fun to clean up.  Tripp loves dumping out every basket he can reach.

Butterfly is rarely away from Tripp's side.

Family photos are always interesting to take.  I'm not sure we'll get one that has all of us looking at the camera until the kids get older.

Yay for half-time concerts.  We are certainly a football-loving family.

First Major Outing as a Mom of Two

Tripp and I did one of our favorite things this week.  We got to spend time with two of our favorite people while doing something he really enjoys...visiting the GA Aquarium!  Although Rob and I have a season pass, we hadn't had a chance to go since Camille was born. I figured it was definitely time to remedy that situation.  This was my first attempt at a solo outing as a mom of two.  I had been to the grocery store one time by myself with both kids, but I had not yet tried to go to any other public places without Rob's help.  I'm not sure I would have ventured out if Katherine weren't going with me.  I knew she'd be a big help with Tripp if I had to deal with a cranky baby or if I just needed to stop and nurse.  Plus, Tripp and I LOVE spending time with Katherine and Lyla and both really needed to have a fun playdate with them.

Camille mostly slept while we were there and only woke once to nurse.

The kids were pretending to fall down and would laugh at themselves.  It's kinda gross that they were all over the floor, but they were having fun.

We let them run around after lunch and they had fun chasing each other.  It's nice to go during school hours because it's not crowded and they have more room to play.

Still sleeping!

The dolphin show is always the highlight of the aquarium...in Tripp's opinion.  I like it too, but I've seen it so many times it would be great if they changed up the routine a bit.  Tripp, on the other hand, talks about it non-stop and is always captivated during the entire performance.

So, all went well!  I think we'll continue to journey out now that my confidence in handling both in public has been boosted!
