Easter Picnic

Last week, Tripp's class celebrated Easter with an egg hunt and picnic.  Rob and I went to the school a little early to help hide the eggs around one of the playgrounds.  I assumed the egg hunt would be complete chaos since there were several other classes scheduled to do their hunts in the same area, at the same time, but everything went well.  There is such a cute a group of kiddos in his class.

Waiting patiently to search for eggs.

Tripp was looking for us to follow his class.  Once he saw Rob and I were there, he didn't want to be without us.

Every family brought in 10 eggs so each child was allowed take 10 eggs home.

After the hunt, we went back to the classroom for centers.  The teachers had three stations set up to show the parents how well the children do going from one activity to the next.  Tripp and I are playing with puppets in this one.

We made bracelets in this center.  They had some cute cross charms to add to the bracelets.

In the last center, the kids made an Easter scene using construction paper, glue, paint, Easter grass, and markers.

Finally, we moved all the tables out of the way, spread out blankets on the floor, and had our picnic.  I really LOVE getting to do this type of stuff with Tripp.
