Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Thanksgiving was really low-key this year.  My Dad was in Louisiana for work, Alli was in North Carolina with her boyfriend's family, and Claudia was in Florida visiting her sister's family.  This left Me, Rob, Tripp, Camille, Matt, and my Mom.  We decided to have a yummy dinner, but didn't want to go overboard on the food making.  My sister's roommate/best friend, Sarah, who also happens to be a good family friend of ours, also came to dinner.  Sarah's parents live in Kentucky and her Brother, Nick, and his wife, Mandy, are stationed in Colorado so she didn't have any relatives in town to celebrate with.  Sarah is practically family though.  The Disney's lived just a few houses down from us when we were growing up.

For dinner, we had turkey (of course), rolls, squash casserole, candied yams, peas, mashed potatoes, cranberry, and dessert.  Even though we really held back on the meal (we normally make A LOT more), I still managed to gorge myself.  It's not Thanksgiving dinner if you don't feel like a stuffed turkey when you finish.  I really try not to, but I always manage to eat more than necessary.

My sweet Chubby girl!

There was most definitely some relaxing and football watching.

Mom and I were the cooks.

Operation: Destroy the Playroom...Always fun to clean up.  Tripp loves dumping out every basket he can reach.

Butterfly is rarely away from Tripp's side.

Family photos are always interesting to take.  I'm not sure we'll get one that has all of us looking at the camera until the kids get older.

Yay for half-time concerts.  We are certainly a football-loving family.
