Easter 2012

Easter was pretty low-key for us this year.  Tripp woke up to a surprise from the Easter Bunny.  We decided not to do candy since we don't really give him any yet and just filled the basket with a few toys.  He's really obsessed with trains so he was pretty elated to find two Thomas the train toys in his stash of goodies.  He also got an Easter book and a few toy animals.  I'd say he made out pretty well.

After breakfast, we all got ready to go to church.  We didn't take any photos of us dressed up before church and Tripp fell asleep on the way home, so you'll just have to picture him in his cute little khakis and yellow polo.  He also got a little crayon on his shirt during mass so when he woke up from his nap, I changed him into a t-shirt and shorts.  I was smart enough to buy washable crayons.  That combined with these awesome Tide stain release boost packets I found and I can pretty much get anything out of our clothes...even old stains!  Seriously, everyone should try them!

Rob's mom and my brother, Matt, were the only ones in town so we had them over for Easter lunch.  We ate in peace while Tripp was napping and fed him a quick lunch when he woke up.  After Rob's mom left to go back home, Rob, Matt, and I took Tripp to the park to enjoy the pretty weather.  We came home to relax and watch the rest of the Masters.  Go Georgia Boy, Bubba Watson, for pulling out the win and earning that green jacket!

The ladies love Tripp.  This is not the first time he's been chased by a little girl who wanted to hug him at the park.  This little girl was probably around 2.5 or 3 years old.  It was so funny to watch.  He actually thought it was pretty funny at first, until he got bored and decided he was over the game.  She, however, wasn't about to give up. 

HAPPY EASTER!!!  HE IS RISEN!!!!
