Camille's Baptism

Ah, what a busy month August has been so far.  Rob finished his summer semester on the 7th so we tried to cram in as much fun as we could while he was on break.  We started off his week with Camille's Baptism on Saturday the 10th.  We celebrated the Sacrament at our church and then went out for a yummy lunch.  Our entire family was there as well as Camille's Godmother, Ashley, her husband Michael, and their three boys.  Camille did wonderful the entire time and was a pretty good sport when Father Jack poured the holy water on her head.  I was expecting huge tears from my little lady, but the only time she cried, it was short-lived (unlike the constant scream session Tripp had during his Baptism).

Ready to be Baptized.

This girl loves her Momma's jewelry.

At the church.  I handed my camera to Alli and told her to snap away.  She did an awesome job.

Praying with Father Jack.

The only time she cried...getting her outfit unbuttoned.  She always cries when I'm dressing or undressing her.

The two Godparents.  Camille is so lucky to have both of them in her life.  Matt (my brother) and Ashley.

Getting blessed.

She liked looking at the burning candle.

Rob, Camille, Father Jack and I.  Father Jack not only married Rob and I, but he also Baptized Tripp.  I'm sure a lot of people feel this way, but he definitely holds a special place in our hearts.

Us with the Godparents, Matt and Ashley.

More of the group, including my Mom and Dad, Tripp, Alli, Chris, and Claudia.  There were a few other people there, but for some reason I don't have a picture with everyone in it.

Outside of the restaurant after lunch.

After leaving the restaurant, we all went home and I entered into packing mode.  We were Rosemary Beach bound in the morning!
