IT'S A...

GIRL!!!  We're excited to say Camille Marie Dennis looked great on the ultrasound Tuesday.  She is growing perfectly and weighs a whopping 10 ounces or so.  I have an anterior placenta (in the front instead of the back of my uterus) this time so it explains why it took me a little longer than I expected to feel her move.  I actually felt her the same week as I felt Tripp's first movements, but with this being my second baby I was worried since I thought I'd feel her so much sooner.  Since she's getting a lot bigger now and her kicks are getting so strong, I can actually feel her pretty frequently throughout the day.  She was doing somersaults on the the ultrasound.  The tech commented that she was an extremely active baby.  In fact, her kicks are so strong, Rob has already been able to feel her and I can see my abdomen pop-up whenever she gives me a good kick.  It's such an awesome feeling.

WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU CAMILLE!!

  2. Love her name, how pretty! And, having an anterior placenta is the "best place" or so I was told when I had it with Brice. Same thing though, it took me forever to feel him move which made me anxious. Glad she is an active little thing. Can't wait to see her sweet face.
