Tuesday, my Grandmother and Aunt drove in from Louisiana to spend a little time with my Dad, brother, Tripp, and I on Lake Martin in Alabama. I had to work Tuesday so Tripp and I didn't get to leave for the lake until Wednesday. It was so nice to see Aunt Peggy, my Dad's sister, and my Grandmother, Grandmere, even though it was only for one day. We went to lunch, shopped for a canoe, and hung out that afternoon. Matt and I were able to take the new boat out for a bit later that evening and then Matt joined me for a run to the Marina and back that night. Grandmere and Aunt Peggy left on Thursday morning and my Dad had to work so Matt and I went into Auburn to walk around the campus and to get frozen yogurt. The few days at the Lake really flew by very quickly, but it was nice to let Tripp spend some time with his Great Grandmother and Great Aunt.
I forgot the SD chip to my Canon camera at home so these pictures were taken with my iphone. They aren't the best quality, but I'm happy I was able to take a few of Tripp and Grandmere.
One small detail that I fogot to mention is that Tripp was actually a little under the weather during our visit. He started to run a low grade fever Wednesday night and it continued until last night. It got up to 103 a few times between Thrusday night and yesterday. Friday morning, I was up at 4:00 am giving him a tepid bath after he woke up crying and burning up. I called my Pediatrian when the office opened that morning and she was confident that the fever was from the vaccine he got last week. He never had any other symptoms, but he sure was pitiful these past few days. I couldn't even put him down for a second. He just wanted to be held and to lay his head on my chest. It was super sweet, but I felt awful and wanted him to feel better. I'm glad he's starting to feel back to normal today!

| The stuffed animal he's holding is his favorite. It usually just stays in his crib at home, but since he wasn't feeling well, he carried it around all day. |

| It's funny, but Tripp only sucks his thumb when he's holding this blue butterfly. It's one of the reasons he only gets it at night. Although, when you're sick, you get whatever makes you feel better! |
